Job Description:
As a 911 Dispatcher/Communications Officer, you’ll be responsible for handling emergency and non-emergency calls from the public, coordinating police, fire, medical, and other emergency services, and staying in touch with our units out in the field. You’ll also be assisting with various tasks at the Municipal Jail.
Shift Work:
This position requires flexibility, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays. Overtime may be necessary. And while you’ll be dispatching for multiple city departments, you’ll be part of our fantastic Police Department family, reporting to the Deputy Chief of Police.
